Our story
The conventional way of media production is shifting, and Papilio is a pioneer of this new digital age in Montreal, Paris, and Luxembourg City. And being this obsessed to the craft is not something we chose to do, it's who we are. We're driven by a higher purpose - sharing our unique perspective with the world in hopes of making a difference in the lives of the young generation.

The Butterfly Effect
Concept that small changes have big impacts - this is why we pay such close attention to detail. Moreover, this also conveys our belief that a simple thought or idea can create a world of difference. Positive thoughts are seeds that we plant in our mind, and that very much grow into robust and impactful trees.
Higher Consciousness
The butterfly is very much also a symbol of higher consciousness. Caterpillars have very simple eyes that only differentiate between light and dark. However, as they metamorphose into butterflies, they develop complex eyesight and can even see ultraviolet light, which we humans cannot. The butterfly shows us that our level of awareness and insight can expand. The way we can expand our consciousness is through experiences, art, reading, learning, traveling, meditation, and much more...

Alexandre 'Alexon' is a French creative director & entrepreneur based in Montreal, Canada. Alexon's drive for creativity and personal growth has led him to travel the world, skydive in distant deserts, and push himself both mentally and physically. His work aims to capture emotions, ideas, and memories. He strives to make the intangible a little more tangible.

Gregoire 'Greg' Yakan is a French entrepreneur and businessman. Having started his career in tech, Greg brings a very rational way of thinking to the team. He is a planner by excellence and makes sure that all the logistics, insurances, and paperwork are in order so that the creatives can thrive. He's very much the dad of the group and ensures that Papilio flies as gracefully as it can!

Maxime Harfouche
Born in France. From SEO optimization to product launch marketing strategies, he has a natural passion and drive for understanding what makes brands excel digitally. He shares Papilio's attentiveness to detail which he has cultivated through his extensive experience working with luxury brands in Switzerland. Maxime also loves meeting and interacting with people - he truly loves helping people in addition to problem-solving which makes him an invaluable asset to our team.

A model turned photographer, Charyse has an amazing eye for composition and light. Her fascination for wildlife and the ocean has made her travel across the globe in search of new and eye-opening experiences. Today she focuses on creating pieces dear to her heart and spreading awareness for the beauty of our planet through her work. She's also one of the wisest and most adventurous souls at Papilio - spontaneous ideas always come to her and greatly benefit the shoot altogether.

Based in Paris, Tom is a French filmmaker specializing in directing and travel filmmaking. Over the years, his thirst for adventure has led him to travel the world with the dream of capturing and sharing raw and real moments with others. Tom is another one of Papilio's wildly adventurous spirits - he's never backed down from a challenge and certainly won't be doing so any time soon!

Charles-Antoine Dumont
Charles is a drone pilot and travel filmmaker from Montreal, Canada. Traveling to more than 14 countries, his thirst for adventure and for chasing stories has shaped his outgoing personality. These exceptional experiences allow him to constantly push his craft to the next level and find new ways to tell impactful stories. He's also the technician of the group, with a deep understanding of tools & camera technology that certainly comes in handy on set.

Ocean child from Tahiti, Keoni is our underwater specialist and photographer. He was quite literally born with a passion for the ocean and marine life and has become one of the best in this field. His extensive experience in the ocean compliments his genius eye for light and composition, making him the key player when it comes to taking projects into the water. He also has a special talent for keeping team morale at its highest on-set with his contagious optimism.
